LOCAL INTEREST
Being only 2 miles from Windermere, Blackmoss is the ideal location for further exploration of the Lake District National Park. Closer to home we have miles of easy walking (or hiking) on unfenced lanes where wandering sheep far out number the vehicles you may encounter. A labyrinth of footpaths span the surrounding fells affording a variety of interesting walks. Birds and wildlife abound in profusion.
